A complete AIFMD Annex IV workflow
From data capture to regulator-ready XML โ replacing the workbook end to end.
Guided data capture
Every item from the official AIFMD workbook, rendered as validated forms with the regulatory item number, label and code list. Repeating tables (markets, instruments, exposures, share classes, monthly blocks) included.
Definition-driven, not hand-coded
Fields, code lists and the XML element mapping are generated from the source workbook and the ESMA XSDs. No invented codes, labels or element names.
Four checks, sold separately
Basic validates the generated submission XML against the official ESMA AIFMD v1.2 schema โ the real "will the portal accept this?" answer. Enhanced checks every value's type, range and code-list membership. Cross-check catches contradictions between the questions of one filing. Any check can include the earlier ones for the sum of their prices.
Comparison engine
The fourth check: period-over-period against the last submitted filing, or across funds. Each field's change is classified and numeric swings beyond a threshold are flagged so anomalies surface before filing.
XML & Excel onboarding
Bring data in from an ESMA submission XML (AIFM or AIF) or a filled-in AIFMD workbook โ both map straight into structured reports.
Organisations & roles
Viewer, Preparer, Approver, Admin and Owner roles with maker-checker: the preparer of a filing can never approve it.
Filings & artifacts
Assemble a period's reports for a jurisdiction, generate and store the submission XML artifacts, and track every submission attempt and its outcome.
Submit to the regulator
Route an approved filing through maker-checker, then release it to the jurisdiction's portal โ every submission attempt is recorded, and credits are refunded automatically if one fails.
Audit & isolation
Strict per-organisation data isolation and an immutable audit trail of validations, comparisons, approvals and submissions.
